Job Summary
Assembly Line Operator on 2nd Shift for Oldcastle Infrastructure. Responsibilities include assembling complex communications parts on production or automated lines, following floor supervisor and plant manager directions, reading and understanding quality control documents, signing off QC tasks, ensuring packaging quality at every stage, reporting machine downtime, performing grinder checks, and adhering to safety policies with PPE. Requires a minimum high school diploma or equivalent, ability to operate all related assembly machines, read work orders/labels, identify defects, and lift up to 40 lbs; at least 1 year of production line experience preferred. Compensation includes $20-$23 per hour plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Able to perform all assembly positions in assigned work area
- Able to work in all assembly related machines
- Ensure you are following the control plan, work instructions and processes
- Able to identify defects and communicate to machine operator to ensure quality specs are met
- Follow all safety rules, work instructions and work order processes
- Perform all duties in a safe manner. Always wear all PPE and follow all policies
- Report any safety issues or conditions to your lead or supervisor
- Ability to read the work orders and labels and understand ALL its contents
- At least 1 year of production line experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
