Job Summary
Supervise and mentor a team of assembly workers to ensure accurate and efficient product assembly while implementing quality control measures throughout the process. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to provide clear instructions, utilizing hand tools and equipment safely to maintain a secure working environment. Identify areas for process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste, collaborating with engineering and supply chain departments on production schedules and material needs. Conduct training for new team members and support ongoing skill development to improve performance and safety standards. Requires Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm schedule with occasional Friday overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly role, with a minimum of in a lead or supervisory position
- Strong understanding of assembly processes and techniques, with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and machinery commonly used in manufacturing settings
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Familiarity with quality assurance practices and standards in manufacturing
- High school diploma or equivalent
