Assembly Lead

Job Summary
Lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations in the Brushless Housed production cell at the Radford location. Enforce safety rules, prioritize and coordinate cell tasks, update production plans, monitor productivity, and ensure on-time completion of processes, 5S and Kanban audits. Manage training and standard work, drive continuous improvement initiatives, communicate production reports, escalate safety or quality concerns, and collaborate with team members to resolve challenges promptly. Requires strong manufacturing knowledge, effective written/verbal communication, Excel proficiency, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced onsite environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Self-motivated, self-directed and able to work well as part of a team
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and peers
