Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate bench and structural assembly, boxing, and bagging for snowplow and ice control product lines in both paced and non-paced environments. Set up and operate machinery, perform assigned maintenance tasks, and maintain accurate TPM records. Train, audit, and document Job Instructions while upholding 5S standards and driving continuous improvement to reduce waste. Monitor scrap levels, track production metrics, and ensure team adherence to all safety policies and regulatory requirements. Resolve shop floor conflicts and address issues to foster a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic lean concepts (DDMS)
- Minimum one year within the organization
- Prior leadership experience
- Ability to perform multiple assembly positions within home BU
- Prior background in a manufacturing setting
- Microsoft Office experience
- Ability to train others
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Ability to report daily production
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to focus on multiple priorities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
