Job Summary
Lead and train employees on BBS elements including 5S, One-Piece Flow, Visual Management, and Safety. Assemble manufacturing orders according to schedule while maintaining high quality standards. Champion Standard Work and utilize lean manufacturing techniques to continuously improve department processes. Lead daily stand-up meetings to review tier I performance and drive audit and red tag initiatives within the 5S program. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems and prioritize workflow in a fast-paced environment. Actively participate in employee performance reviews and help maintain Key Performance Indicators to measure area performance.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years assembly experience
- above average BEGA product knowledge
- Excellent communication across teams and departments
- demonstrated use of formal methods
- Demonstrated record of continuous improvement for department processes and methods
- Strong computer skills as measured by the Standard Work of the department
- Ability to read assembly drawings
- Ability to read wiring diagrams
- Ability to Read, Write, Speak, and comprehend English
- previous manufacturing experience
