Assembly Lead (1st Shift)

Job Summary
Assemble and test electromechanical systems and subassemblies for gas delivery systems in a cleanroom environment while leading assembly personnel. Provide daily direction to the team, develop work schedules with the Manufacturing Manager, and lead production meetings to track output and schedule attainment. Operate hand and power tools, apply 5S and visual controls, and troubleshoot quality, material, equipment, or manpower issues. Conduct on-the-job training, support certification, and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and delivery performance. Requires 5+ years of cleanroom leadership experience and flexibility for occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Some technician coursework and/or AA technical degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of related experience working in a cleanroom environment with previous leadership experience
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel occasionally as needed
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to lift over 25 lbs. with assistance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull and grasp
- Ability to move arms, hands and fingers
- Required to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks
- Ability to stand / sit for sustained periods of time
- Ability to talk on phone and use computer for extended periods of time may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in helium leak testing, module and sub-assembly testing, and inspection preferred
