Assembly Layup I

Assemble lay-up tasks on the lay-up table under the direction of Layup 2 or Layup 3 team members. Performs assigned tasks at the lay-up table, obtains materials from pattern pullers/super cutter, assists with cutting, and ensures material is laid up according to the schedule. Maintains table cleanliness, monitors for defects, verifies length/width, and submits material requests as directed. Supports Lean and Safety processes; reads schedules; uses puller/pattern ID screens to verify material and runs; operates equipment such as lift trucks and cut-down tables; maintains pace of 85–100 sheets per hour. Night shift 9pm–7am, with weekend work. Requires knowledge of safety standards, material quality standards, data entry into computer systems, and basic measuring; ability to operate a tape measure, lift truck, and cut-down table. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Experience: 1 year of work experience. Environment includes fumes/odors, temperature extremes, and loud noises.
