Job Summary
Study assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists to gather components, tools, and materials. Position parts using templates or measurements, then assemble components by examining connections and fastening elements. Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications or notifying a supervisor for additional resources. Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance, check stock levels, and expedite orders for needed supplies. Communicate daily with the supervisor regarding potential issues and comply with all safety procedures to keep the environment clean. Perform other duties as directed by management while maintaining the highest standard of personal conduct.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Up to 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Able to identify that product meets quality and productivity standards
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to focus on details to guarantee production of high quality products
- Willing and available to work overtime to reach goals
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
