Job Summary
Study assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists to prepare work; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements, then examine connections for correct fit before fastening components. Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications or notifying a supervisor for additional resources. Maintain equipment operational through preventive maintenance and keep supplies inventory accurate by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, and expediting orders. Communicate daily with the supervisor regarding potential issues and maintain a safe, clean working environment by complying with all procedures and regulations. Perform other duties as directed by management. Work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday from 5 am to 3:30 pm, with Fridays required based on product demand.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Up to 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Able to identify that product meets quality and productivity standards
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to focus on details to guarantee production of high quality products
- Willing and available to work overtime to reach goals
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
