Assembly Integration and Test Engineer (Space Division)

Job Summary
Lead the assembly, integration, and testing of satellite components and systems in space division; develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures for functional, environmental, and performance testing of satellite subsystems; conduct integration tests and document results; collaborate with design, systems engineering, and quality assurance to identify and resolve issues; use specialized test equipment for data acquisition during assembly and integration; ensure adherence to NASA/industry guidelines and participate in anomaly investigations to determine root causes and corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in assembly, integration, and testing of aerospace systems or similar complex systems
- Hands-on experience with satellite or space vehicle assembly and integration processes
- Solid understanding of test methodologies and experience with environmental testing (thermal, vibration, etc.)
- Experience with data analysis tools and software such as Python, LabVIEW, or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a commitment to quality
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to travel to test sites and customer locations as needed
