Job Summary
Wire and solder small components, assemble mechanical and electrical parts using a high-speed burr and ultrasonic cutter, and prepare devices for wiring by creating layout guides. Perform final finishing tasks including trimming, sanding, and buffing while conducting thorough quality checks through electro-acoustic testing, visual inspection, and listening checks. Program or reprogram devices as required and input data into application-based systems. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere strictly to safety policies and Standard Operating Procedures. Requires high dexterity, microscope proficiency, and ability to stand or sit for long periods. Target hourly rate ranges from $18.50 to $21.88.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Able to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Able to lift 25 pounds by self and 50+ pounds with a team lift
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to follow all written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Great hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for working with small components
- Proficiency in using a microscope and small hand tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic workplace
- Ability to adhere to all safety policies
- Ability to read/comprehend written work instructions and SOPs
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records
