Job Summary
Operate and maintain stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts according to specifications while following established manufacturing procedures. Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly line equipment to build units, then test and calibrate components to ensure they meet tolerances and quality standards. Repair or refit parts that fail tests. Maintain accuracy and perform assigned tasks at an appropriate pace within a manufacturing facility environment involving loud noises, varying temperatures, and machinery. Requires cross-training to support all Assembly I roles.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to use and accurately read measuring devices (tape measures)
- Ability to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.)
- Ability to follow blueprints
- Ability to read and interpret Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency (data entry)
