Job Summary
Directs and oversees employees, machinery, and work methods in the Fulfillment Department while investigating safety, quality, or equipment issues. Selects, installs, and sets up assembly lines, manages material flow, and adjusts controls based on management input. Observes operations to detect defects, performs quality inspections, and conducts minor machine maintenance. Counts, stacks, and transports finished product, participates in training programs, and recommends improvements to area line operations. Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00am to 7:30pm. Three 12-hour shifts with 36 hours worked for 40 hours paid. $24.00/hour to $28.00/hour depending on experience. High school diploma or GED required with strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude. Bilingual in Spanish or Hmong preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with co-workers
- Ability to convey a positive and professional image of service and support to employees at all levels of responsibility in the Company
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures, manuals and order specifications
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentages
- Ability to read a ruler to 1/16th of an inch
- Ability to apply practical knowledge and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Mechanical and spatial aptitude
- Attention to detail, accuracy and quality
- Enthusiasm, dedication, reliability and punctuality
- Ability to move from one task/assignment on short notice
