Job Summary
Assemble and fabricate components for aerospace applications. Install units, parts, equipment, and components; bolt, screw, and rivet accessories to fasten subassemblies; align parts using jigs and fixtures; cut, trim, and file parts to fit within tolerances; perform layout, fabrication, and installation of parts and equipment; apply sealants and adhesives per customer specifications; operate hand and power tools; solve dimensional problems using fractions, decimals, and formulas; read travelers, drawings, specifications, and work instructions; identify defects and communicate issues; determine tooling requirements and support tooling as needed; bag and tag finished products; follow applicable manufacturing standards and documentation; participate in general duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of transferable skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Experience with reading drawings and work instructions
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
