Job Summary
Maintain staging, assembly, and quality for the production line by preparing parts, reading work orders, counting inventory, and editing inspection paperwork. Retrieve components from storage to assemble items per customer instructions, store materials by part number, and log tracking data through the Traverse system. Oversee the assembly team to ensure adherence to dispatch lists and build schedules, while taking ownership of daily shipping lists to ensure on-time delivery. Review quality and assembly documentation prior to shipment, verifying that labels and certifications are properly applied. Adhere to safety regulations and wear personal protective equipment as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of related experience and/or training
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Mathematical skills to manage units of measure, fractions, decimals, whole numbers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets to determine set-up and operations to be formed
- Must be able to lift, carry, and stack by hand or safely using material handling equipment
- Must wear personal protective equipment in accordance with safety and training guidelines
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
