Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day studio operations by shadowing dedicated staff, participating in script reading and analysis, and attending roundtable discussions. Spearhead the creation of a short film, potentially eligible for submission to the Atlanta Film Festival and other competitions. Dedicate approximately 15-20 hours per week for an in-person, paid 8-week program running from September 1 to October 23, 2026. Complete at least one film-related course or degree for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Completion or ongoing enrollment in at least one film-related course, certificate, or degree
- Ability to dedicate about 15-20 hours per week to the position
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in relevant office software or tools used in film production (e.g., Microsoft Office, editing software, camera equipment preferred)
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the demands of the internship
- Availability to commit to the duration of the internship program WITHOUT missing more than 2 scheduled workdays
- Possession of reliable transportation to and from Assembly Studios
