Job Summary
Operate a stitch gun, glue gun, hand bander, heat gun, and bundler while following assembly procedures to ensure correct product construction. Conduct quality checks on assembled items and handle corrugated materials within the assembly area. Perform general housekeeping duties including sweeping and trash disposal. Collaborate with forklift operators to optimize workflow and meet production targets and deadlines. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM for 40 hours with overtime when needed. Comply with established performance standards measured by time study or pieces per hour.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Lift up to 25 lbs. alone and up to 50 lbs. assisted
- Manual dexterity and the ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, technical drawings, and specifications
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods
- Team player with good communication skills
- Basic math skills for counting and measuring
