Job Summary
Perform manual or semi-automated assembly of mechanical, electrical, or electronic components while following standardized work instructions and blueprints. Use hand and power tools, fixtures, and jigs to meet daily production goals with high accuracy. Conduct visual inspections, functional checks, and documentation of production logs to ensure all products meet specifications before advancing. Identify nonconforming parts, defects, or equipment malfunctions and escalate issues to the supervisor or quality team. Monitor takt time, cycle times, and assembly error trends to support continuous improvement and workflow optimization. Communicate clearly during daily team huddles regarding product status and improvement suggestions. Work Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm with a $17.00/hour base rate plus a $1.00 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, diagrams, and work instructions
- Understanding of basic mechanical or electrical assembly
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems or willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn
- Schedule: Monday- Friday, 3:00pm- 11:00pm
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational or technical training
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S practices
