Job Summary
Perform assembly and packaging operations per approved documentation, inspecting products and paperwork for compliance with production standards. Operate equipment in assigned work areas as needed while maintaining high quality and throughput within company norms. Clean workstations daily per quality systems requirements and assist in training other operators. Stop production at the workstation if concerns arise regarding material acceptability or process safety. Work the 2nd shift with a 15% premium and earn up to an additional $800 monthly attendance bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Possesses communication skills sufficient to read and write clearly and distinctly in English
- Performs basic arithmetic calculations
- Handles multiple tasks simultaneously
- Once trained, able to work with little supervision
- Demonstrates ability to train other operators
- Maintains a positive attitude with respect to changes in processes, methods, and work assignments
- Qualified to operate equipment in assigned work area, if necessary
- Demonstrates understanding of the product and process flow for assigned work area(s)
