Job Summary
Mechanical assembly of precision-engineered valve products using assembly tools and equipment, including carrying out pressure testing using high-pressure test cells. Build and test products in line with engineering procedures and specifications by reading and interpreting engineering drawings and assembly instructions. Complete quality inspections, record production and testing documentation accurately, and maintain high standards of housekeeping, quality, and health and safety. Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to achieve production targets while supporting continuous improvement. Join a growing engineering manufacturer in Stroud on a double day shift pattern (rotating early or late). Salary is £35,000 plus a quarterly bonus, with 25 days holiday and ongoing training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Previous mechanical assembly and testing experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience working with hydraulic or pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
