Job Summary
Read, follow, and explain procedures for assembling and testing medium to low complexity electro-mechanical devices using hand tools, adhesives, and testing equipment. Fill out Quality forms and assembly records while understanding quality control standards to recognize defects. Communicate effectively with supervision and engineering, and participate in Continuous Improvement activities. Use a variety of hand tools, torque drivers, UV curing equipment, dispensers, press fixtures, and computers to test devices. Perform moderately fine adhesive dispensing and complete paperwork correctly while standing or sitting for extended periods. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required. Work on-site in our Billerica facility five days a week.
Required Qualifications
- at least one year of relevant manufacturing or production experience
- General mechanical aptitude and dexterity (ability to use small tools in tight spaces)
- Proficiency with small hand tools, torque drivers, UV curing equipment, dispensers, press fixtures and computers
- Ability to use computers to test devices
- Manual dexterity for moderately fine adhesive dispensing
- The ability to stand or sit while working for extended periods
- The ability to read and speak English
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to [25�50] pounds as required
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, or climb as needed
- Ability to operate tools, machinery, or technical equipment
- Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required
- Work Location: on-site in our Lexington Road Billerica facility 5 days/week (M-F)
