Job Summary
Assemble and test medium to low complexity electro-mechanical devices using hand tools, adhesives, and testing equipment while following detailed procedures and Quality standards. Requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, effective communication, and at least one year of manufacturing/production experience. Read and follow procedures, fill out quality forms and assembly records, use hand tools and modest equipment, recognize defects, communicate with supervision and engineering, and participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of relevant manufacturing or production experience
- General mechanical aptitude and dexterity
- Proficiency with small hand tools, torque drivers, UV curing equipment, dispensers, press fixtures and computers
- Ability to use computers to test devices
- Manual dexterity for adhesive dispensing
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions
- Use of PPE as required
