Job Summary
Assemble and test medium to low complexity electro-mechanical devices using hand tools, adhesives, and testing equipment while following detailed procedures and Quality standards. Requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, effective communication, and at least one year of manufacturing or production experience. Responsibilities include reading and following procedures, completing quality forms and assembly records, using a variety of hand tools and modest equipment, recognizing defects and ensuring quality, communicating with supervision and engineering, and participating in Continuous Improvement activities. Flexible medical/dental/vision coverage, 401k match, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and hybrid/flexible work arrangements are offered; on-site work at the Norwood, MA / Billerica, MA / Westbrook, ME facilities with a targeted salary range of $22-$23 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of relevant manufacturing or production experience
- General mechanical aptitude and dexterity
- Proficiency with small hand tools, torque drivers, UV curing equipment, dispensers, press fixtures and computers
- Ability to use computers to test devices
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds as required
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to bend/reach/stoop/climb as needed
- Use of PPE required
