Job Summary
Assemble small, complex mechanical and electromechanical components by interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment to build assemblies, then inspect and test them to meet quality and tolerance standards. Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members in a close, cell-based setting to support high-performance applications. This onsite role in Elyria, OH offers shift options from 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 11:30 AM–8:00 PM, with a pay range of $11.83–$14.79/hour and benefits including medical coverage starting Day 1, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 6+ months of mechanical assembly experience or formal mechanical training
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Experience using hand tools and measuring devices
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute within 30 minutes
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of mechanical or precision assembly experience
- Experience with small, intricate assemblies (e.g., pumps, motors, electrical components)
- Soldering experience
