Job Summary
Assembler Tester B - 2nd Shift responsible for assembling and testing routine mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and top assemblies for a lineup including Boeing, Embraer, Gulfstream, Cessna, and Airbus. Work typically with little supervision, organize data and test reports, perform lock wire/safety wire and nameplates, conduct visual inspection, and use diverse hand tools and test equipment. Proficient in interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, testing schematics, and instructions; perform cross-training and contribute to process improvements. Core hours 1:45pm to 11:45pm; hourly rate 25.88 with a $2.00/hour shift differential. Must have experience in aerospace manufacturing/test environments, read assembly blueprints, and operate shop/test equipment; ability to work in a regulated environment and comply with export-control requirements. Located in Los Angeles, CA area; no relocation benefit offered and U.S. person status required as part of export regulations. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 2 years in assembly within a manufacturing, aerospace, or military environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of testing one or more of the following: mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical assemblies.
