Assembler - Team Lead

Job Summary
Team Lead for manufacturing operations on the assembly line. Assigns production-line tasks, evaluates projects and incoming orders to set up daily production, monitors productivity and quality, resolves line problems, trains and supervises new workers, collaborates with other departments to ensure on-time module completion, maintains a safe and clean work environment, enforces policies, and communicates between production supervision and workers. Reads engineering drawings to determine material requirements and task sequences; arranges stock of sheet metal or parts to meet specifications; promotes teamwork, safety, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Experience as an Assembler in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in HVAC or sheet metal is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints
- Proactive problem-solving and attention to detail
- Strong leadership and team-guidance skills (supervisory experience is an asset)
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to collaborate across departments and ensure materials/tools/production plans are available
