Job Summary
Assemble electronic components and circuit boards, perform hand and machine soldering, and route, cut, and terminate wiring according to IPC-610 standards. Inspect assemblies for defects and alignment, operate assembly equipment safely, and maintain a clean work area following 5S practices. Collaborate with supervisors to meet daily output targets while working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with flexibility for optional weekend shifts. This hands-on shop-floor role supports the delivery of high-quality electronic products within a team that prioritizes accuracy and adherence to industry quality regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical assembly within a manufacturing or electronics production environment
- Proficient soldering skills for both through-hole and surface-mount components
- Hands-on experience with wiring, cable harnesses, and circuit board assembly
- Ability to read and interpret basic electrical drawings, assembly instructions, and work orders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent quality
- Comfortable working Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with flexibility for weekend work when required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle small components with good manual dexterity
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Formal training or certificate in electronics assembly, soldering, or related field
- IPC-610 certification or training
- Familiarity with IPC-610 inspection and acceptance criteria
- Experience working in an ISO or similarly regulated quality environment
- Previous work on high-reliability or industrial electronic assemblies
- Basic troubleshooting skills for assembly-related issues
