Job Summary
Assemble machines and component parts per customer orders using mechanical drawings and measuring tools to meet build plan timelines. Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting during assembly to ensure correct operation and quality standards. Coordinate with lead personnel to requisition parts, safely operate material handling equipment like forklifts and cranes, and maintain accurate production records. Recommend process improvements and actively solve problems with internal and external customers. Requires minimum five years of hands-on experience with tools and machinery, proficiency in measuring instruments, and strong troubleshooting skills. Level 3 expert role focused on autonomous problem-solving and process optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with tools, machinery, and mechanical systems
- Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Proficient in all types of measuring tools as required (tape measures, micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience reading and interpreting instructional drawings and schematics
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
