Job Summary

Assemble WSWH walls to production standards using power tools and equipment while performing quality inspections against drawings and specifications. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers to move raw materials and finished goods. Read work orders to determine material specifications and product dimensions, then maintain a clean, organized station by returning all tools to designated locations. This full-time, non-exempt Swing shift position (3:45pm – 12:15am) is located in Stockton, CA. Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, one year of production or logistics experience, and Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck Certification.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck Certification
  • 1 year of production, warehouse, and/or logistics experience
  • Ability to Work Independently: Follow both written and oral instructions, including safety guidelines, work instructions, and company policies
  • Attendance: Able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance in accordance with our attendance policy
  • Communication Skills: Speak in the most effective way to relay information to all departments and at all levels within the organization
  • Listen and ask questions to ensure understanding
  • Quality Standards Knowledge: Demonstrate an understanding of company quality standards and company quality control processes
  • Problem Solving: Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Teamwork: Ability to work with other team members to accomplish group goals
  • Results Focus & Initiative: Ability to multi-task and take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Customer Service Skills: Apply customer service principles and processes on the job and with others
  • Reading Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment
  • Must be able to stand, walk, see, talk and hear
  • Must be able to sit occasionally
  • Must be able to operate large equipment while standing for approximately 8-12 hours
  • Must be able to regularly twist and bend in a repetitive motion
  • Must be able to operate a forklift
  • Must be able to operate a reach truck
  • Must be able to operate an order picker
  • Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack
  • Must be able to consistently demonstrate safe work practices and promote a safe work environment
  • Must be able to read through work orders to determine specifications, such as materials to be used as well as product dimensions and tolerances
  • Must be able to perform quality inspections to drawings and specifications per written procedures
  • Must be able to maintain building station area clean and organized making sure all tools and supplies are returned to home locations after use
  • Must be able to assemble WSWH walls in such a manner as to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, continuous improvement and production goals
  • Must be available for a Swing shift position (3:45pm – 12:15am)
  • Must be located in Stockton, CA
  • Must pass a successful drug screen
  • Must pass a criminal background check
