Job Summary
Assemble materials, parts, and equipment on assembly lines or designated workstations using hand tools, wires, and other implements. Install lids, scan inventory, and compressors while ensuring all parts match the bill of material and meet quality standards. Maintain workspace organization and cleanliness, strictly following safety policies, housekeeping rules, and environmental protocols. Wear required personal protective equipment including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and gloves. Perform duties with attention to detail, efficient timing, and good hand-eye coordination in a manufacturing environment with forklift traffic. Stand up to 90% of the time, lifting up to 40 lbs, while adhering to established procedures under supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate air and hand tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, ratchets, and screw guns
- Attention to detail and basic math / counting skills
- Ability to interpret and follow work instructions including all safety policies
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to get along well, communicate timely and accurately with co-workers, supervisors and team leads
- Ability to pass in-house training program
- Good eye/hand coordination
- Ability to stand extended periods of time, 8-10 hours a day
- Ability to work overtime as needed, including working up to a 5 to 7-day work week occasionally and/or during peak season
- Ability to apply good judgement, strong work ethics and integrity on the job
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
- PPE required: steel toed safety shoes, safety glasses with side shields, and gloves
- Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 40 lbs
- Hand Eye Coordination, handling tools and other objects (holding, grasping), repetitive wrist motion (flexion/rotation), and repetitive foot movements (Foot Pedals)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
