Job Summary
Assemble assigned parts on the assembly line using hand and power tools in accordance with production guidelines and blueprints. Conduct inspections to verify part integrity, identify defects, and report findings while filling out production paperwork. Interpret schematics and assembly instructions to guide the process, prepare work by studying parts lists, and troubleshoot basic assembly issues. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a clean, organized work area. Follow safety culture and wear PPE as required. First shift Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2+ Years of assembly experience in manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- Knowledge of fastener installation and torquing processes
- The ability to follow instructions
- The ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
- The ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and company operation sheets
- Basic troubleshooting Skills
- The ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- The ability to do complex assembly of parts
- The ability to work with close tolerance
- The ability to work overtime, including weekends
- Must have ability to read applicable customer documents with or without corrective lenses
- May have to lift up to thirty (30) pounds at a time, as required
- Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time
- First Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Desired Qualifications
- Tech School preferred
- Experience in the Aerospace industry is Preferred
