Job Summary
Cleans and assembles component parts, machined parts, and subassemblies using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring instruments. Operates overhead cranes and forklifts to move parts and materials, while removing burrs and rough spots with files, hone stones, or portable pneumatic grinders. Collaborates with line workers to assemble products, documents diagrams and schematics, and identifies defective items per established procedures. Performs minor adjustments, repairs, or setups to equipment under supervision and reports problems immediately to the team leader or Department Supervisor. May include basic welding, washing, primer, and painting of components or assemblies. Requires reading blueprints and drawings, operating machinery safely, and working in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to moving parts, fumes, and loud noise.

Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 0-2 Years Heavy equipment manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of commonly used mechanical concepts, practices, and procedures
- Relevant trade school or college course work
- Computer experience
- Ability to use a mouse
- Locate and open/close files
