Job Summary
Assembler needed in a hands-on manufacturing setting to read blueprints, interpret measurements, and assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand and basic power tools. You’ll follow written and verbal instructions to meet production and quality standards, inspect finished parts for accuracy, maintain a clean and safe work area, and collaborate with teammates to meet deadlines. The role emphasizes attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, ability to read technical drawings, and strong teamwork and communication in a production environment.
Required Qualifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and tape measurements accurately
- Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to specifications
- Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively
- Follow verbal and written instructions to meet production and quality standards
- Inspect assembled components to ensure accuracy and workmanship
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain efficiency and quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Demonstrate consistent attendance and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools
- Ability to read measurements and understand technical drawings
