Assembler-Operator I (TAPS CHS) – 1st Shift

Job Summary
Unpack, inspect, and assemble nozzle rings while performing racking, shipping, and receiving for TAPS products. Maintain document review statuses, manage traveler corrections for nonconforming parts, and execute MES operations including first-piece and in-process inspections. Remove barcodes from unassembled rings and support shop efficiency through clean, safe work areas. This role requires Level I certification, good math and communication skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs or more while standing or climbing machinery. Candidates must obtain authorization for U.S. export-controlled information access.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have achieved certification as Assembler – Operator level I
- Good math skills
- Good communication skills
- Able to handle multiple tasks; attention to detail
- Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Requires occasional lifting and carrying of 50 lbs. or more and standing for extended periods of time
- Moderate physical activity requiring agility and manual dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending as well as lifting or moving objects
- Must be able to climb in and out of small places; crawl around machinery
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time and maintain focus on the job at hand

- This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information
