Job Summary
Operate mold machines, assemble blinds and insulated glass, and perform final packaging of door glass while adhering to safety procedures and quality standards. Execute standard work instructions to manufacture parts, inspect components against label descriptions, and maintain 5S workstation organization. Rotate work centers as needed, build packaging materials, and communicate best practices or concerns to the next shift. Submit continuous improvement ideas regarding safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and cross-training across three manufacturing functions. First shift in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three or more months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence/postings, labels and production schedules
- Ability to speak or write effectively in English and complete forms/requests for information
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to repeatedly bend and reach
- Ability to use hands to manipulate tools and parts
- Ability to read newspaper size print
- Ability to walk, talk, and hear
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- First Shift availability (United States of America)
