Job Summary
Assembler position assembling sheet metal control house buildings; duties include layout, measuring, and marking dimensions and reference lines; maintain production yard in a clean, organized fashion; operate hand and power tools; work through various tasks across production stages; operate specialized equipment; adhere to PPE and safety requirements; may require occasional overtime; strong emphasis on teamwork and willingness to learn a variety of skills; requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years manufacturing/assembly experience (welding/fabrication and forklift experience preferred).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in the field of manufacturing or assembly (preferred)
- Welding and fabrication experience (desired)
- Experience driving a forklift (desired)
- Knowledge of proper use and care of hand and power tools
- Must be able to work from 10’ ladder
- Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to always ensure a safe workplace
- Have reliable attendance, be respectful, and responsible at work.
