Job Summary
ATCO Rubber Products is hiring an Assembler to produce jacket or core at set standards of efficiency and quality. Responsibilities include setting up and operating Core and Jacket machinery, monitoring production equipment for safe and efficient operation, inspecting output for conformance, packaging finished materials, and documenting production information on tickets. The role requires reading and following manuals, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, participating in training and continuous improvement, and adhering to safety rules. The position is full-time (40 hours) on 1st shift (6:00 am – 2:30 pm, M-F) with occasional after-hours support and weekend on-call. Requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, operate equipment, lift up to 45 lbs, stand for 8 hours, and adapt to temperature extremes. Benefits include a full benefits package and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed manufacturing environment and follow standardized work processes.
- Must be able to operate/monitor production equipment to ensure quality output.
- Read and follow manuals and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace and adhere to housekeeping standards.
- Excellent attendance and dependability; positive attitude.
- Willing and able to work overtime, including weekends when needed.
- Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs, stand for an 8-hour shift, and perform repetitive movements; able to move and stack cartons and walk between work areas.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing/warehouse setting with temperature extremes (hot/cold).
