Job Summary
Assemble various sheet metal products and components using power hand tools and fastening equipment to meet department production standards. Operate in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, lifting and pushing objects up to 50 pounds while standing for extended periods. Read and understand simple instructions in basic English, along with basic engineering drawings, and perform basic math skills. Use pneumatic tools as needed. This role offers hourly wage progression based on performance reviews at 90, 180, and 365 days. The position is part of the 1st Shift team, Monday through Thursday, 5:00am to 3:00pm, with a paid 30-minute lunch break. Overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- three to six months related experience or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- comfortable with both the working environment and physical requirements of the role including: a non-climate-controlled warehouse
- ability to lift/push/pull objects up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand on one's feet for longer periods of time
- ability to read and understand simple instructions in basic English
- ability to do basic math skills
- Monday through Thursday, 5:00am to 3:00pm
- Overtime may be required as needed
