Job Summary
Perform repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs by placing parts in specified relationships and fastening them with bolts, clips, screws, or cement. Cut products to specific measurements and tend machines for force fitting or fastening on the assembly line. Remove defective products as needed and work at different stations as production requirements dictate. Clean equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures. This role involves no supervisory responsibilities. Prior carpentry experience is helpful, and overtime may be involved.
