Job Summary
Work on an assembly line to build and test compressed gas components, ensuring each product meets high standards of quality and reliability. Use tools and machinery to assemble parts while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workstation in line with 5S standards. Read production routings, blueprints, and bills of material to complete tasks accurately, and pull necessary parts and materials for assembly. Maintain inventory tracking and labor documentation, participate in cross-training, and adhere to all safety protocols including proper PPE use and MSDS knowledge. Follow strict work schedules covering start times, breaks, and cleanup periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and comprehend written, verbal, and diagram instructions
- Strong basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide (including fractions and decimals)
- Physical ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs. regularly
- Willingness to learn and apply new skills and processes
- Following all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and knowledge of MSDS
- Adhering to work schedules including start/end times, rest breaks, and cleanup periods
