Job Summary
Assemble heavy and large mechanical products per specifications and production schedule. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety policies, operating personal protective equipment, and notifying supervisors of accidents. Work without close supervision while checking results for conformance to print or specifications and making necessary corrections. Contact the Maintenance Department for equipment repairs and work with coworkers to provide cross-training as needed. Scan all parts into the operating system and keep the work area clean and orderly. Perform duties independently in a work cell, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand on concrete for extended periods. Work overtime as required and take on additional assignments when requested by management.
Required Qualifications

- Able and willing to work in other areas as needed
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and independently or as a team
- Must be able to stand on concrete for extended periods of time
- Must be able to stand, climb, crawl, bend and utilize multiple tools including but not limited to power tools
- Able to work independently in a work cell
- Consistently uses and refers to Work Instructions to ensure high quality
- Able to use power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments
- Communicates effectively with CMT and Supervisor
- Properly scan all parts into the operating system
- Cross-trained in a minimum of 4 work cells, or able to perform specialized functions unique to a small number of employees
- Attendance has not exceeded five (5) pts
- Offers solutions to problems in the work area
- Knowledge of operating systems
- Ability to train new employees
- Participates in problem solving activities with leadership teams
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred manufacturing experience
- High School or GED preferred
