Job Summary
Conduct precision assembly or sub-assembly of electronic and ceramic parts using small hand tools, tweezers, and microscopes. Install, mount, fasten, align, and adjust components while reading drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Operate production equipment, examine assemblies at various stages to identify errors, and perform basic quality inspections to verify proper assembly. Maintain records of assembly progress, replace defective components, and communicate promptly regarding material shortages or tooling issues. Adhere to safety protocols, 5S practices, and detailed written or verbal instructions to ensure process compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must meet US Person requirement
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to use required PPE including safety glasses, safety shoes, and gloves
- Willing and able to learn other applications as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing or precision assembly role within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with ceramic components or cleanroom standards
- Work effectively in a collaborative team-based manufacturing environment
- Read and interpret technical documents and work instructions
- Perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail
- Manage time efficiently and meet production deadlines
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint
- Experience with ERP systems
