Job Summary
Conduct pre-assembly, build windows or doors, work the glue pit, and assemble crates as part of the manufacture of quality buildings and modular components. Operate various hand tools and power tools including drills, chop saws, band saws, reversibles, table saws, and radial arm saws. Safely lift up to 20 lbs on a consistent basis and up to 50 lbs occasionally, while working at heights up to 10' and climbing ladders repetitively. Use household cleaners and read detailed drawings if available. Read a tape measure, perform basic math calculations, and demonstrate initiative and safety consciousness. Mid-Day and Evening shifts are required, Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to use various hand tools and power tools including but not limited to drills, chop saw, band saw, reversibles, table saw, radial arm saw
- Ability to safely lift up to 20 lbs. on a consistent basis
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis
- Ability to work at heights up to 10'
- Ability to climb a ladder repetitively
- Ability to use household cleaners
- Ability to read and write using basic English skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to pass all pre-employment background screenings including a drug test
- Mid-Day shift availability
- Evening shift availability
