Job Summary
Assembler II - Electrical on 1st Shift assembles electrical controls for display cases and related systems, reads engineering drawings and wiring diagrams to determine materials, mounts electrical enclosures and devices, runs wiring and conduit per UL471/NEMA/NEC, uses crimping devices, and trains others while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Works closely with engineering resources, supports continuous improvement efforts, and adheres to safety rules and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of HS Diploma or GED required
- Prior experience with low-voltage electrical systems such as fire alarms, access control or related life-safety systems
- Ability to understand and interpret basic electric circuitry
- Knowledge and capability of using basic electrical test equipment
- Demonstrated ability to read instructions and wiring diagrams of internal equipment plus components
- Needs to know hand and power tools required in electrical applications
- Previous experience performing electrical work preferred
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
