Job Summary
Operate hand and power tools to position and fasten parts, assemble components including brake hoses, axles, and wiring harnesses, and prepare metal surfaces using approved solvents. Apply caulk to trailer seams, measure materials according to blueprints, and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards. Work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime when required. Join a family-owned manufacturer training new hires to build semi-trailers for over-the-road and agricultural transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, tape measures, work instructions, and company documents applicable to the assigned area
- Ability to perform basic math and measurement calculations
- Ability to maintain high standards for quality, accuracy, and work performance
