Job Summary
Entry-level General Assembly Technician I, based in Riverside, CA, working in a small team to perform basic mechanical assembly tasks such as fastening components and installing brackets, assist with subassemblies, electrical work (wire routing and labeling), body/interior assembly, and material handling. Follow drawings and work instructions, conduct self-checks to meet basic quality standards, complete production checklists and documentation, maintain a clean and safe 5S-compliant workspace, escalate any quality or safety issues to supervision, and develop skills to meet takt time and productivity goals.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a hands-on work environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to safely use hand tools and basic power tools with instruction
- Ability to read and follow basic drawings or work instructions with support
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Reliable attendance and a strong focus on safety
- Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift materials up to established limits
- Operate hand and power tools safely
