Job Summary
Assembler-I performs assembly of components, sub-assemblies and finished goods following approved work instructions, drawings, and SOPs. Operates assembly tools, jigs, fixtures, and production equipment safely. Follows defined process flow, cycle time and takt time requirements. Performs self-inspection and in-process quality checks to ensure products meet specified quality standards. Maintains production records and traceability documents. Supports line balancing and productivity improvement initiatives. Participates in Lean, Kaizen, TPM, and cost-reduction efforts and contributes improvement suggestions to enhance productivity, quality and safety. Willingness to work in shifts and comply with safety rules (EHS) and 5S standards.
Required Qualifications
- ITI or Diploma
- Read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions
- Basic knowledge of quality concepts and inspection techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work in shifts following production requirements
