Job Summary
Follows drawings, schematics, and work instructions to assemble components, preparing fabrications by drilling, tapping, and cleaning. Operates assembly machines with minimal assistance while monitoring quality and communicating detected issues. Maintains equipment logs, checklists, and QC records, then arranges units for shipping. Cleans work areas using 5S, operates forklifts, and participates in safety training. May assist Technical Support Specialists or perform duties as needed for fluctuating business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- proven mechanical ability
- previous machine operator experience
- Ability to read, write, speak, and follow written or verbal instructions in English
- Capacity to properly use and read measurements on tools involved in the assembly process
- High degree of manual dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems
Desired Qualifications
- Working understanding of computers
- Knowledge of electronics
- Familiarity of pneumatics
