Job Summary
Assembler position for 2nd shift in Oconomowoc, WI responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly of control panels and systems. Duties include assembling mechanical components and electrical wiring per engineering drawings and schematics, performing point-to-point wiring, routing, and termination, interpreting wiring diagrams and blueprints, testing and basic troubleshooting, installing fluid system components, and maintaining production records. Tools used include wire strippers, crimpers, multimeters, torque wrenches, and standard hand/power tools. Requires strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills, ability to read blueprints/electrical schematics, and adherence to safety and 5S standards. Collaboration with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve build efficiency and product quality. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and operating related equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum five years of mechanical experience.
- Skills: Reads blueprints and electrical schematics; mechanical and electrical assembly; use of hand and power tools; basic computer skills; ability to operate overhead crane and/or forklift; attention to detail; teamwork and collaboration.
