Job Summary
Assemble, align, and secure sheet metal parts, motors, electronics, and molded components into sub-assemblies and complete units. Visually inspect for fit and function, disassemble/rework non-conformities as needed, test electrical continuity and functionality, and package units with shipping fillers and labels using assembly drawings, process sheets, and standard work. Operate hand and air powered tools, use gauges, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Participate in SQDC discussions and continuous improvement initiatives; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and work from assembly drawings, process sheets, and standard work documents
- Ability to operate and perform routine adjustments on machines as needed
- Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and occasional up to 50 lbs
- Experience with hand and air powered tools, measuring instruments, and gauges
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Ability to participate in daily workplace organization activities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of testing units for electrical continuity and functionality
- Ability to package units for shipping with appropriate labels
